"I have been enrolled in Environmental Courses at the Institute of Applied Sciences for 5 years. Much has changed over this time and the student population has grown much both within the IAS and within MCAST. Being involved in campus life is important for me as I think that without this, student life would be much less exciting. Along with a few other colleagues, we decided to set-up IASSO, to try to cultivate that ideal form of student activism which was seemingly lacking when we originally started. Apart from IASSO I am also involved in other NGOs and also have several hobbies that include reading, music and cycling."

"Ever since we began setting up the Organisation, I have always offered my full commitment and dedication towards this initiative. We have worked hard to establish solid ground for students at the Institute of Applied Sciences to enhance their student life. I believe in all the factors and aspects which the Organisation has to offer and I promise my full commitment towards working for a better Institute and a better student life for all students. I also believe that students' education should not be based only on an academic syllabus but rather include fun and informative activities which will enhance student life and enable students to grow and learn."

"I have been a student at MCAST Centre for Agriculture, Aquatics and Animal Sciences for 4 years, now reading for a degree in Vet Nursing and Animal Management. Since the CAAAS became part of the Institute of Applied Sciences, I became interested in helping out and deliver the objectives of IASSO within CAAAS. By being part of the Executive Team I am ready to bring forward my ideas and suggestions and implement them together with the rest of the team. Gradually we are bringing them to life and being a catalyst for improvement."
