James GabarrettaFor the past three I have been actively involved in IASSO, which I co-founded with other colleagues. Through this I have learnt much about how MCAST works and the issues that IAS students face. One of the aims of IASSO is to serve as a bridge between the academic plus administrative staff of MCAST and us, students. Student activism is gaining momentum at MCAST and I do hope that I can act as a vessel for driving this cause forward for the betterment of IAS and MCAST student populations.

Jessica SchembriI have been a student at MCAST for four years and I am reading for a degree in Chemical Technology and I have been elected as class representative for the past three years. In November 2016, I decided to join IASSO to be able to work with a team of students on our Institute. Our aim is to involve more people and continue making the institute better for future students. With the help of the team through dedication I am certain we are able to reach our goals.

Danika FormosaAs co-founder and active member of the organisation, this is my third year contributing towards IASSO and the Institute. From the beginning, I have been fully dedicated towards working for a better Institute and a better student life for all students. We are faced with many challenges however, we learnt from them and are still learning from these opportunities. I believe that students' education should not be based only on an academic syllabus but rather include fun and informative activities which will enhance student life and enable students to grow and learn."
